The programme of the celebration includes:

• Exhibition to commemorate the International Year of the Periodic Table of Chemical Elements on the 150th anniversary of the discovery by Dmitry Mendeleev, the great Russian scientist.
• Official greeting of directors and veterans of the Russian chemical industry, awarding of honoured workers of the industry.
• Comedy-Vaudeville “Mysterious Chest” staged by Performance Director of the theatre Yuri Solomin.
